Rural Property Photography (for Real Estate)

photo of an aerial view over an expanse of farmland with green crop and green pasture with a few trees dotted in the paddocks.
A wide green land!

Spring or late winter is the optimal season for photographing your farm for sale, while crops are green (or yellow in the case of canola!). With the landscape looking luscious I had the opportunity to take aerial drone photographs of this farm property near Williams, in Western Australia, at the end of July.

I grew up with my parents reading the rural newspapers, and they always featured properties for sale on the back pages. Even though we weren’t looking to purchase a property it was fun to browse the ‘Farms For Sale’ and imagine a different life. Well now I am lucky enough to get to take some of those photos!

Aerial Drone Photography as Art

Aerial photo of paddocks on a Australian farm shows a patchwork of yellows and greens.

Aerial Photographs let you see much more than ground level photos can. Aerial Photography is ideal for photographing properties, for real estate photography, and for stunning images of any location.

And more than that, aerial photos can make stunning wall art! The aerial photos are intriguing, and can make the viewer look really closely at what is happening in the image. Try one on your wall and you’ll be amazed by how many comments you get, and at how long you can sit looking at it without becoming bored.

As art pieces, aerial photos are best displayed BIG!
